A Day in the Life of a Quadriplegic
I Love You All! ❤
MY
NAME

RENEE
WHISNER.
I had been living in India for a year traveling all over that amazing country. I love all of India, but I was called to one place in particular. For most of that year I could be found in Rishikesh at Kriya Yoga Ashram, Tattva Yoga and Parmarth Niketan Ashram, nestled lovingly into the foothills of the Himalaya Mountains. Where I earned six certificates in becoming a Yogic Teacher. Growing even more spiritually and as a person. I had also helped my body to heal from Fibromyalgia, herniated disc, sciatica, depression and obesity. When a car crash severed my spine at C-4. Which has left me in a wheelchair paralyzed from my chest down. I am currently living in Naples Florida with my parent who take care of me. Since I am a veteran I am under the care of the Tampa VA Hospital SCI (spinal cord injury) unit. I am still trying to figure out how to teach a Yogic lifestyle in my condition. But in the meantime I am pouring myself into my church, Unity of Naples. I am a prayer Chaplain and am currently enrolled in the SEE (spiritual education and enrichment) Ministerial studies to become a Unity Minister. I look forward to going back to school studying Psychology soon. I will be posting my day to day life in my blog. If you have questions about quadriplegia please ask, I am not angry or sad about my current condition. In fact I am a very positive person. I do have my moments though. LOL but I will answer all inquiries. I believe my spiritual path saved my life physically and mentally and by divine guidance I am being led down a different path.
